Baboon Skull 1
Chacma Baboon Skull (Papio ursinus): This is a male baboon skull, I collected it over 20 years ago while conducting research in Zimbabwe. It was old when I found it, bleached by the sun and becoming chalky and crumbing in places. It’s lost some teeth, notably the big canines, and – as it now sits in our garden – it has grown a bit of moss in the nasal cavity.
